Privacy Policy

Last updated July 24, 2026

Indicia is a private research library for iPhone, published by E5 Enclave Incorporated, a Florida 501(c)(3). It is built to be sovereign: your library lives on your device, reads offline, and is shared only with the people and organizations you choose. This policy explains, plainly, what Indicia handles and what it does not.

What Indicia does not do

What is stored, and where

Account information

To sign in to a shared library, Indicia stores your email address, your display name, your role, and — if you choose Sign in with Apple — the private identifier Apple provides. Sign-in codes are sent by email and expire. This information exists to attribute what you contribute and to enforce who may read each item.

The librarian (Ask Ebony)

Questions you ask the librarian are answered from the documents in your library. On supported devices this runs on-device; otherwise the question and the relevant passages are processed by E5's own AI service on Cloudflare to compose an answer, and are not retained for training or any other purpose.

Your control — access and deletion

Children

Indicia is an internal research tool for adults working on E5 Enclave's mission and its partner organizations. It is not directed to children.
